August is a mortgage firm in Oakland. They were just starting out, but needed a confident, credible Web presence to help establish themselves. It needed to look professional and have the flexibility to incorporate online applications.
To be professional without being intimidating, we gave the site a friendly look, incorporating photos we shot around Oakland. Specifically, the header image is a rotating series of Craftsman-style roof details.
