Done for MetaDesign, this typography conference Web site was one of the earliest sites to use DHTML. Though it’s the oldest piece on this site, the design, and the idea, are still interesting and strong.
The DHTML technology allowed us to give the site its layered appearance and functionailty. The intent was to present a single page with all the information on it at once, overlapping. Making selections in the navigation would bring that info to the front. This concept came from the conference’s central theme of communication in the new age of information.
