A brand’s look is the most accessible way to express its personality. We bring brands to life through design, mainly through the logo, the web site, and printed materials.

Design is a crucial component of a great brand, whether it’s the way the brand presents itself in the marketplace or the design of its actual product. And we leverage that idea for brands both large and small. We use design to craft a brand’s personality and promise, to communicate in a clear, effective, and compelling way. Our approach is smart and deliberate and always takes full advantage of the medium, be it identity, print, or web.

We bring a passionate design ethic, a meticulous attention to detail, dynamic visual sensibilities, and rigorous information design skills to every project—elevating the level of design delivered to the consumer while at the same time keeping it accessible and engaging.

We're located in Seattle, Washington, but work with clients all over the world.

Next he spent a few years in the editorial field, first as designer for San Francisco publisher, Chronicle Books, and next as the founding Senior Designer for architecture and design magazine Dwell. From there, Shawn became an Art Director for Apple Computer where he developed design solutions for everything from retail environment and package design to collateral and interactive media. He moved to Chicago to become Design Director at Remedy, an agency that specializes in branding for clients in the health space. While in Chicago, he founded Hazen Creative, Inc. which has been his focus ever since. Now in Seattle, the studio continues to work on diverse projects with an emphasis on book design, branding, and web design.
